Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get to your shop?

We are located in the Old Sacramento waterfront at 1115 Front St, between L and K Streets with easy access from the i5 freeway.

How much does it cost to get a tattoo?

Prices vary greatly depending on artist, size and placement, the best way to obtain an estimate is either contact the artist directly or come by the shop.

Is there a shop minimum?

Yes, the minimum price is $100 per tattoo, per person. This is for the very simple outline tattoo, no color or shading and nothing over 2 square inches in size.

How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?

You have to be 18+ to get tattooed.

Do you do Walk-ins?

Yes, we do walk-ins. We recommend calling the shop ahead at (916) 573-3225 or sending us an email using the form in the contact page. You can also contact the artists directly to check their availability and to book an appointment (non-refundable deposit is required).

Do I have to leave a deposit to book an appointment?

Yes, we require all clients to leave a non-refundable $40-100 cash deposit when making their appointment to get tattooed. Larger Tattoos (sleeves, back pieces, legs) may require larger deposits. This deposit then goes towards the price of the tattoo, if the tattoo requires more than one session, your deposit will be taken out of the last session. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. If the tattoo appointment needs to be rescheduled, 48 hrs notice must be given or the deposit will be forfeited. Same case if you don’t show to your appointment, that deposit would be forfeited and a new deposit would be in place to schedule another tattoo appointment. Thank you for your understanding.

Can I bring a friend?

We recommend that you come in to your tattoo appointment by yourself. Space is limited in the shop and we like to have enough of it to be able to work comfortably and avoid unnecessary distractions so we can deliver our best work possible.

What does Atelier mean?

An Atelier is a workshop or studio, especially one used by an artist or designer. It comes from the French, first used around 1699. Pretty cool huh?
